New goals, new projects and new energy – those qualities can be used as a summary of the event, which took place in Auditorium Maximum on October 1st, 2022. The new academic year has been officially inaugurated in the presence of the Faculty and IRAS representatives, new students and their families.

The audience was greeted by Dr. hab. Paweł Laidler, prof. UJ - the Dean of the Faculty of International and Political Studies. I would like to congratulate those who successfully passed the recruitment process and made the crucial decision concerning the direction of education. You now co-create an interdisciplinary and international Family of Students of the Faculty – he said. His speech was followed by the welcome message from IRAS director Dr. Dominika Dziwisz, who - together with Dr. Michał Rzepecki - answered questions asked by the new students. They both wished everyone many successes and an unforgettable university experience. We hope that you will have an unforgettable time while at IRAS and that your studies at Jagiellonian University will be truly life-changing – added Dr. Dziwisz.
